When we saw this go up on our site, we thought it was an interesting perspective on tithing. Usually one considers tithing something you do through your church. For those of you who don't know what a tithe is, let us explain. It's very simple really. When you give 10% of your income to your church, you are tithing. For Deniece, she decided her 10% would do better as a donation of all her proceeds to the non-profit, A Glimmer of Hope.
We researched A Glimmer of Hope a bit and are very excited that Deniece supports this group. They do incredible things for those suffering in third world countries. If you see the post on our site, you will see a picture of a few women standing around a well. That well was built by A Glimmer of Hope using Deniece's generous contributions in memory of her grandmother.
Our hats go off to you Deniece for your unconventional tithing and your overabundant generosity.
