Dear Kim,
Your note about Frieda put tears in our eyes. We are so happy and blessed to know that people like Frieda exist in the world. Not everyone has a Frieda in their life, especially after something as devastating as an amputation happens to them. Oftentimes people forget that their experiences and position in life could mean the difference between life and death for others who are lost or hurting.
In Frieda there is a beautiful lady who shows hundreds of amputees how life moves forward and flourishes regardless of how many limbs one has. Kim, if you are reading this, remember what you have in Frieda and always be looking for that same opportunity to be Frieda for somebody else.
Never tell yourself that you can't do it, not like Frieda could. And you know what? You're right. You are not Frieda, but you are you and you have a powerful voice - one that brought tears to our eyes. We love you Kim and everyone else who is struggling out there. For all you Frieda's out there, thanks for loving everyone else too.
Go forth and Do Good friends! We can't wait to hear about it.
