Someone Recognized Karl Rabeder for giving away over 3 million pounds (that's the Brittish currency if you were wondering, not the weight standard.) Whenever anyone gives away a lot of money to set up philanthropic establishments, it's an awesome thing. However, its almost mind blowing when we find out that Karl didn't just give away 3 million of his own money. That was all of his money.
Wow.
Apparently Karl recognized what was wrong in his own life, and he gave it away. This isn't to say money is evil, because really it is just a tool, right? For Karl however, money was keeping him from what he calls life. He felt like he was enslaved to it and unable to recognize the good in his everyday life. So, he gave his money away so that it could provide good in other people's lives.
Karl grew up poor, so says the post on our site. He became rich and decided it wasn't necessarily good, so he gave away his wealth to help others and became poor again. That is absolutely incredible Karl, not many people could take that kind of leap.
Go forth and Recognize Good friends. Do good as well. It may not be as radical as Karl's actions, but it doesn't have to be in order to be awesome.
